About ME
Mr. Cory Jacobsen's Classroom

My name is Cory Jacobsen and I am from Viborg, SD. I grew up and graduated from Viborg High School in 2011. After high school I graduated from South Dakota State University in 2016 with a degree in Exercise Science and from University of Sioux Falls in 2018 completing my MBA.
Last school year, I completed my first year of teaching students. I oversaw the science classroom teaching physical science, biology, and anatomy. This year I will be adding an exercise science course. I am looking forward to continue to work with the high school students and creating a positive learning experience together.
When I am not teaching, I am helping the high school football and basketball teams as an assistant coach and am the head strength and conditioning coach at Viborg-Hurley. Go Cougars!
Outside of the school, I enjoy spending time with my wife Keeley and our three boys Kohyn (5), Kaylor (3), and Kameron (1). I enjoy watching and playing sports, weight training, and hanging out with friends and family.
